The title Guru (Gurmukhi: ਗੁਰੂ) is fundamental to Sikhi. The core beliefs of Sikhism are of belief in one God and in the teachings of the Ten Gurus, enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (the present, living and eternal guru), having all knowledge, wisdom and authority in all spheres of life.
