Help Kalgidhar Trust (Baru Sahib) to bring back Punjab’s lost glory

Rehat Pyari Mujjhko Sikh Pyara Nahe” – - Guru Gobind Singh

Sikh way of life is a great intermix of ‘Truth’ and ‘Discipline’. This uniqueness makes Sikhi a different path. But overtime this glory has been lost as our base state Punjab has been turmoiled. Be it Nakli Gurus or Drugs or Girl child killings or Casteism Punjab stands first, and it is a matter of great shame.

The gross falsehood and indiscipline among us in following Sikh principles is a reason to it. Be it in an sphere we have started compromising. For example Sikh girls marrying non sikh boys. Earlier it was a blot but slowly the sikhs who are more engrossed in personal glory, wines and money are slowly accepting it.

So What’s the Solution?

If you make solid roots then the tree will be strong. What I mean by this is to strengthen our kids and their future to bring back the glory by again inculcating Truth and Discipline. When I look towards the dim light, One ray of hope is there.

The Kalgidhar Trust(Baru Sahib) is one such society running many schools across Punjab. First thing student is taught is to maintain Amrit Vela, Bani & Bana. This is very heartening to know that out 1000s private schools all over India there is still one whcih gives importance to Lord’s Name first. The fruits of such discipline are obvious as the students of Baru Sahib (Akal Academy) always excel in all exams.

How can you help?

No movement can proceed without Monetary and Volunteer help.

I commit to help such an organisation in Sikhs that is daring to think beyond Gurdwaras.
Kudos to Kalgidhar Trust- Baru Sahib. I wish more and more people wake up to this realisation that something needs to be done to bring back Punjab’s glory.
Let us all not talk of the problems alone. Let us think of some solutions.
