Subscribe Feed (RSS)Punjab government has announced that it would establish a hi-tech heritage memorial at Chapparchiri village, Mohali in remembrance of legendary Sikh & National hero Baba Banda Singh Bahadur’s historic battles against the tyrant Mughals which saved India from its clutches.
The Sikh Army under the regime of Baba Banda Singh Ji Bahadur was also instrumental in ending the Mughal rule. It is worth noting that the Khalsa(Amritdhari Sikhs) also established and free Independent rule under for a period of four years.
Meanwhile,a comprehensive plan to build memorials to commemorate the historic incidents of “Chhota and Vadda Ghallughara” (holocaust) at Kahanuwan in Gurdaspur and Kupraheeran in Barnala, respectively have also been finalised.
