Bhai Manpreet Singh & Jarnail Singh Journalist speak up on Faridabad incident

After some distorting reports in local media, Bhai Manpreet Singh Ji Kanpuri has further clarified and strengthened his stand. This is a height of disrespect & shame that in the presence of our Satguru Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji how some pseudo sikh missionaries can dare to try and stop the kirtan.

Bhai sahib came into rosh when pseudo sikh missionaries intervened within running kirtan and even tried to snatch mikes. We appreciate the grit and determination of Bhai Manpreet Singh Ji who stood up for the respect of Guru Sahib.

Meanwhile speaking on the incident (Bhai) Jarnail Singh Journalist also clarified the distorting reports of feud in atheistic magazine Spokesman between him and Bhai Manpreet Singh.     I heard the controversy about Dasam Granth and watched the above videos. I am not related to any group or party. I have no other place to pray than Sri Guru Granth Sahibs Ji. I like to (by the grace of Guru Ji)read Gurbani at home. I like the kirtan by Bhai Manpreet Singh. Only those who have no respect for gurbani/kirtan want to create problems in the sikh panth. The more sensitive situation is that the troublemakers are in the guise of sikhism, seem mercenaries of the anti-sikh elements. These days the true sikhs have to be very careful. A true sikh of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji have no place of worship/pay obeisance than Sri Guru Granth Sahibs. Everyday problems are being created to discourage the younger sikh generation from sikhi. And these element seem to be successful to a large extent. Young generation turn away from sikhi.
    Regarding singing the shabad from Dasam Granth, I support the views of Bhai Manpreet Singh. We cannot divert from the whole Granth as we have some banis which are part of our ‘nitnem’ and the same are recited at the time of Amrit Sanchar. But we cannot install this grath equal to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji I wish bhai Manpreet Singh continue doing kirtan whole heartedly (as you do), may Guru Ji bless you with more melodious voice and long life to serve the sikh panth more efficiently.

    I also respect bhai Jarnail Singh journalist a brave young sikh journalist.

    when this incident happened, i was personally present at that point of time.
    It was an embarassing moment for the whole sikh sangat who were present there. When Bhai Sahib was doing the kirtan, he was about to sing that line from Dasham granth, KAAL TUHI…., suddenly some of the missionary supporters stood up & tried to snatch the mike from bhai sahib, it was shameful.

    I heard that there are some things which are written in Dasham Granth, which certain people don’t like, but who has given the rights to us to stop the kirtan in the middle.

    It was very shocking. In my childhood days, i personally was associated with these missionaries,attended sikh parchar camps,Although they have done a very good job by educating poor children, helping the society, but what they had done on that day, it was unacceptable.

    It will ultimately hamper the khalsa panth.
    Just for the sake of stupid publicity,they did this kind of activity,

    I also remember one of the incidents in Faridabad when these people tried to stop Gyani Vedantiji (Former Akal Takht Head) & ultimately they were beaten up by his bodyguards.

    So we should try to find out some solution rather than disrupting the on going kirtan.

    But i would like to thank Bhai Sahib Manpreet Singhji for his patience.
