New Route of Prakash Purab’s Nagar Kirtan(4 Jan,2009) in Delhi

This post is to inform all Sangat that Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee has decided a new route for the Nagar Kiran on the Prakash Purab of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj which is on 5th January, 2009.

The Nagar Kirtan in on 4th January, 2009 and it will have the following route:

Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib (start point) -> Talkatora -> Rajinder Nagar -> Patel Nagar -> Moti Nagar -> Raja Garden (then turns left towards) -> Rajouri Garden -> Subhash Nagar -> Tilak Nagar (then turns left towards) -> (Jail Road towards) Fateh Nagar -> Hari Nagar Depo (then turns left towards) -> Hari Nagar Clock Tower (then turns left towards) -> Hari Nagar Petrol Pump (then turns right towards) -> Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (end point)

This is the first time this route has been changed for the Prakash Purab. SikhiWallpapers.com welcomes this decision as most of the Sikh Sangat recides in West Delhi.

Note & Request : The real way to celebrate this Prakash Purab would be to take Khande Ki Pahul (Amrit) from 5 Pyaras and be an Amritdhari Sikh and do nitnem and follow only and only our living and eternal Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as Ordained:

“Agya Bhayi Akaal Ki Tabhe Chalayo Panth, Sab Sikhan ko Hukam Hai Guru Maneyo Granth” (Meaning: It will the order of Almighty God to start this Khalsa Panth and I(Guru Gobind Singh) order all my Sikhs to follow Sri Guru Granth Sahib as your Guru.
